I did do a little sanding but not much. I didn't want to disturb the old CARC paint a lot, that's some nasty stuff. And it was holding good and makes for a good primer. Remember that these are not smooth paint jobs, they're supposed to be a little textured looking. The guys at Bragg are great...

I ordered a nos pioneer tool rack from epay for $20 and went shopping for tools. Got them painted green and installed it all in the hmmwv. It was a fun mini project.

I ordered some trucklite LED marker lights and began installing them. I also had one reflector that didn't match the others and changed that out too.

I painted the frame and suspension with valspar flat black spray paint from Lowe's. It went very easy, but as mentioned already, make sure everything is clean.

I used mine in a local Christmas parade 2 weeks ago.
