    FDC fuel efficiency

Sorry, I did not mean to insult any deuce. Mine is quite efficient at many things. I guess I meant fuel efficient as compared to say a Prius or some other super fuel efficient car. So no difference even on thicker fuels? Cool.

    FDC fuel efficiency

I know that this may be a silly question... especially since a deuce is not fuel efficient to begin with. How much does having the FDC connected affect the fuel consumption? I am familiar with the operation of the device and it seems to me that having it connected would allow less fuel through...

    Deuce Tailgate Crane

I used the same truck crane. I did have to quickly replace the hand crank however. The thing was a real piece. I replaced it with the 2000# winch with a load holding brake from the same store. I lifted enough weight with the setup that it bent the crane. To be fair it was a large load. I think...

    Broke your motor from WMO?

Footnote... I am still running 100% WVO today and it was cold this morning. Old girl was angry at start up. Time to switch to the WMO mix.

    Broke your motor from WMO?

I have put a little over 20,000 miles on my truck in the last year running 90 to 95% oil. During the summer I run 100% veg oil and during the winter I run the 90 to 95% WMO mix. Not one problem so far. I dewater all of my oil and then centrifuge it. Nothing other than the standard filter changes...

If the FDC leaks fuel into the engine...

I am certainly scoping Haspin out. I have nice a stockpile of oil.

If the FDC leaks fuel into the engine...

Awesome, thank you... What type of fuels would fuels would endanger your engine. Lower viscosity like gasoline or higher viscosity like oil. Or is it just dangerous in general? Is it possible to replace the seals in the FDC or is it necessary to replace the whole FDC? Aside from filling your...

If the FDC leaks fuel into the engine...

I am sorry guys... Why disconnect it?
  15. russ132

If the FDC leaks fuel into the engine...

That is what I had read, so why disconnect if you have plans on running anything other than diesel?

If the FDC leaks fuel into the engine...

Please forgive my ignorance... what purpose does the FDC serve if not allowing the abilty to run different fuels? I run mostly WMO. Do I not need my FDC? What would be the benefit of removing it?

That truck by firelands looks good from the road. I am curious about the duece in Norwalk, I thought I was the only local guy driving one regularly.

    Deuce Owners in Northern Ohio?

Hi there from Kelleys Island. I am suprised you have not seen me driving around in my duece. I am in the Sandusky area fairly regularly. My duece is bobbed, and I still had to register commercially due to the weight. It was a bit of a pain. I had some trouble at the DMV just because it was not...
