    Yes it is. One goes, then the next goes, then the next, soon no worky at all! If you think back on it you will notice that it probably was starting kinda tuff anyway. Now the discussion will be..."Which GP's to use"...Big spade or little spade!!!

    I just went though this also. Warthog is right 0 ohms means no good. if one goes bad then that extra voltage goes to the next one, and if that blows then the next and so on down the line untill the last one gets all the voltage. So to say they all went bad at the same time...I doubt it. Also...

    If the races are not turning in the hub, then the hub should be ok. Not much to wear out on a hud if things lubed and set right.

    I changed mine pretty simple, but I should have changed my blinker control as well, and didn't and now I need to disasemble again. You might want to look into it. I wish I did!!

    Should be a preload torque spec for the bearings.

    I have 3:73's in a 90 suburban with stock tires and wheels, and a T-400 Trans. I live in a very mountainous area, pull boats to Tahoe. I wish I had 4:11's. With the stock gears I turning about 3,000 at 70 Mph. I have 4:56's in the 1028 and I love them, great for off roading to your favorite...

    Hey MCK5..You're kidding right..About the RPM's at highway speeds and you have 3.73's installed now..What the?? You should be able to travel 100 miles an hour with that kinda gearing..Of course it leaves you to high a gearing for any reasonalbe off road use.

    Stocko / Rocko, I get 18 on the highway @ 57 miles and hour, at 4000 ft,and 16 oz's of two cycle oil for 20 gallons of fuel. purr's like a kitten.!!! OH, 86 M1028
