You mentioned that you dont know if youre getting 24v to the PCB. I would check that first before tearing into the PCB. It's possible that a wire has come loose after having a battery replaced. I always like to do troubleshooting 1 step at a time. Check the simple things. Follow the circuits and...
100% sure the batteries are wired in right and not shorted somewhere? The low blower is 12v wired direct to 1 battery and would work if the 24v setup isn't wired right.
I've got a 24V->12V converter. My plan is to mount it inside the battery compartment and put a few 12V plugs on the box wall as well as a couple 5V USB plugs. That way I'm not draining the batteries unevenly.
Here in Utah, in the sun the glue on gorilla tape doesn't just goo-ify... It starts to run. And in the cold, it just let's go. The heavy duty 3m won't melt or go brittle and provides a good seal. The rivets hold everything in place.
And GP really should notify you on stuff like that. Would the...
The soft top tearing is a common issue. The stitching that holds the canvas to the plastic piece breaks. You can tape it down but it won't hold for long. I just recently repaired mine using a double stick 3M tape and pop rivets. Since you live in Teton Valley, I live close to your route home. If...
Replaced the lift pump. Now the truck starts up consistently. Need to check it after a couple days of sitting and see if it loses prime. Then it's on to fixing my 5 light ctis and non operational abs.
I got my parts and installed them today. Pretty straightforward. When I got it all back together I was able to easily prime the engine and it started up right away. Hopefully that was the only air leak in my fuel system. If I keep losing prime, I'll be pressurizing the tank next.
Do you have some pictures of your stack? I need some ideas. I want to straight pipe but keep the top stack and heat cover all in their original places and angles.
brasco, when you ordered the pump, did it come with the needed gaskets? And did you have to order the tube seals that maccus mentions in his post? What were all the part #s you ordered?
That's what's got me a little confused: That thread says 4988749 is the newest, but Erik's says 3917999 replaces that one. I just want to make sure I'm getting the best pump (and hopefully the longest lasting one)
doghead... stop making reasonable requests. Sheesh. Don't you know how the internet works? :-)
Yeah, I derped on the picture.
Here's the style I have:
