What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

I need to do this as well. What did you use as a lube and from what end did you go from on the cable? Did you do your parking brake cable too?

    Does the $60 include a new o-ring?

    dash light upgrade?

I'm thinking of trying out something like these: Should be bright and surround each gauge quite well. I think I can get them in RGB too.

Major air leak at Fan shutter-stat

Hey Todds112, did you happen to measure the smaller orings? I'm going to order the 3mmx12mm one but I want to replace all 3.

M939A2 fan clutch actuator OUTLET elbow question

And 1 more question: should there be no air leaking from the hole in the cap or will there always be some air leaking?

M939A2 fan clutch actuator OUTLET elbow question

How much air is supposed to be able to pass through the filter? I pressed an air fitting up to it and tried to pump 60psi through it and barely got anything.

M939A2 fan clutch actuator OUTLET elbow question

So, like many, my fan cutch actuator leaks air. Enough so that when I shut the truck off, it airs down pretty quickly. This leaking also seems to cause the fan to run more than it needs to. And so, today I embarked upon a journey to fix the problem (hopefully). I drained almost 5 gallons of...

    CTIS wheel filter inspect/replace

So I'm working on getting my CTIS working (Yes, I want it working. I'm not going g to remove it.) and I need to check the wheel filters. What's the best way to get the hose off and cap the wheel so I don't lose too much air? Would one of the metal caps from the wheel valve Schrader or backside...

    M923A2: What is this thing?

Do you happen to have the size of that o ring? ID and thickness?

    M923A2: What is this thing?

I think mine had the same issue but instead of adding a valve, the someone just put a screw in to plug it. Fun fun.

    M923A2: What is this thing?

I don't have one of these plungers. Could you take a photo of the original plunger as well as a photo of your Schrader valve fix and post them?

    dash light upgrade?

The holes don't go in the gauges. They go in the plastic caps over the light bulbs.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

I really want to do this, but I don't have welding equipment. ThoseMilitaryGuys has a nice fit in cage, but I need to scrape up $55 for that and more $ for a new filter. This is a pricey hobby. lol

    MRAP side mirrors on deuce?

Okay... THAT is a deal. The version I found was for a single. But it looks like it has the support arm with it and it is for a single.

    MRAP side mirrors on deuce?

$22ish and only if you buy or have a membership. Still cheaper to go through fuzzytoaster.

Major air leak at Fan shutter-stat

Not a valid part #. It should start with 9262K. 9262K266 (Buna-N) is for a 3mm O-ring with 12mm ID. Is that the one? Or maybe 9263K126 (Viton® Fluoroelastomer)?

    Red Footwell lights

Ford has had the option of footwell lighting since before 2008. I really liked their take on it. My old 2009 F-150 had LED tubes and you could change the color and brightness. Very nice effect.

I like Boyce, I really do. Nice guy. I think his products must be made of gold though.

    any cucv's in utah...lets play

Nah, I still need to get troop seats and bows and such. What pisses me off is that I could get the seats, bows, uprights, AND cover for under $600 if I lived out east. We're in a military dead zone here. ****, I'd be happy if I could even get sideboards without seats.

Looks great. Little sandblasting and paint and all's right with it.
