    Flat Tow m342a2?

Well it looks much better than green fence posts!

    Flat Tow m342a2?

Do you have pictures of the side boards for the dump body? I would like to re-create some for mine. What it has now are just those green fence posts, with some boards screwed to them.

    Flat Tow m342a2?

It's something another member is selling, haven't expressed interest in it to them yet, so I'm gonna keep it quiet until I figure out what I want to do.

Re: RE: Heater install Thanks, hopefully I can get ahold of him and get a set.

    Flat Tow m342a2?

Start saving your pennies Kenny. I may flip the truck, something else has caught my eye since I made the offer on this, can't decide which I really want more, I do love these little dumps though. It needs some add ons taken off, non-correct seats, radio put in map compartment, 12v alternator...

    Need heater help, maybe parts

I'm looking to do a correct installation. Or if I have to a modified installation in the original location. Here are pics of the saturn kit.

    Flat Tow m342a2?

I've read about modding the air pack to get brakes, but for this one tow it doesn't seem worth it, plus I don't have a place to work on it either. So for the cable to tow, I was thinking I could get a couple trailer power cables. Has the trailer plug on one end, and 8 wires w/ connectors on...

    Need heater help, maybe parts

Found the diagram, it appears I need bracket 13 and 15. Why do these not come with the kit?

    Need heater help, maybe parts

So I broke down and bought the winterization kit from Saturn. Very nice stuff, although I expected that for the price. So I went to go and figure out how to mount the main heater, and it seems this deuce has no inner fender :( My other one does, and the heater is mounted on it. Does anyone...

    Flat Tow m342a2?

Re: RE: Re: RE: Flat Tow m342a2? I knew it was coming. I don't think I saved the pics from when I looked at it. It will have to wait a couple weeks until I pick it up.

    Flat Tow m342a2?

Re: RE: Flat Tow m342a2? About 120 miles. Reading your post, you make it sound like it weighs as much as a 5 ton. I did a search and found a pic of a data plate. 15,000lbs. So about 2-3k more than my deuce.

    Flat Tow m342a2?

Looks as though I am picking one up. I imagine they are a bit heavier than a standard M35, can I still towbar one safely behind my deuce? I'd use the XM818, but it is getting a new trans at the moment. Anyone know where to get a long trailer cable that I can plug into the rear of the towed...

    Another Pyro question.....

Autometer is pretty decent stuff, I've run their probes pre turbo in my DD. I would rethink the gauge choice though, that guage is probably going to require 12v. If you look around you could probably find an older ISSPRO mechanical gauge. I got mine brand new for 75 bucks w/ thermocouple...

    Deuce cab on M818?

Re: RE: Deuce cab on M818? Thanks, that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy :) Now to decide if I'm going to swap them.

    Deuce cab on M818?

So I remember reading that the deuce cab and the 5-ton cab are pretty much the same. What differences are there? It looked like there wasn't a pre-punched hole for the Heater on the drivers side in the 5-ton, but that doesn't really matter to me. In the deuce it looked as though there was a...

    Check your tires!

Well I WAS getting ready for a 250 mile trip in the deuce tomorrow. Decided I should make sure the tires are aired up. First one I grab...Flat. Hmm, Better check some more. 4 good ones, another flat. I got disgusted and went inside to eat. Must have given me energy. I went and inflated...

    Heating a M109

I think they used a 60k btu fuel fired heater.

    carpet

I looked at a deuce last weekend. It had a rubber floor, w/ matting under it. I think he said he got it from memphis.
