Great story! I am thinking of bidding on an M109 for parts, and to use the box for storage, would need to tow w/ my M35. I'm thinking about it a little harder after reading this story!

you can do it as one piece. There is a funny little washer used on the top side of the windshield frame, other than that it is all standard stuff.

Actually that would be the difference between an m52 multifuel, and an xm or M 818

XM818, and that seems really high, but somewhat on par with what a dealer would want for a rebuilt truck.

Don't know the official weight, but it is over 20k lbs. My xm818 is about 20-21k lbs, so add a dump box to that equation.

Well, Changed the filters, drained the tank, and refilled w/ 5 gallons bled it all out. Ran great, and drove it to the fuel station to fill up. Went to start it and no go. Did the same trick I did last time. Put it in first floor it and push the starter w/ the clutch out. Got it started...

Are those the ones that shine blue? I saw a new hemmt driving through Oshkosh, and it had a blue tint to the lights, kind of like the newer cars w/ HID headlights.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that they use these in the oild fields, I think it was up in the arctic.
