Anyone use a Deuce for a hauling business?

It really depends on what your planning on doing with your truck. Just like any other piece of equipment -- you use what fits the situation best. For less than $5K I got 3 medium duty work trucks with no cheap plastic stuff. They are repairable, rebuildable and fun to drive. Compare this to a...

Anyone use a Deuce for a hauling business?

I have commercial plates and insurance. Depending on the weight on the plate, tags should be $285 - $400. Went up this year in IN. Insurance is about 300/year/truck for basic liability(older guy with no tickets).

Anyone use a Deuce for a hauling business?

I use mine for hauling landscape materials. Skids of stone, mulch, topsoil, trees, shrubs ect... I plan to put a dump setup on at least one. They will haul up to 14 cubic yards of mulch. As compared to my 23k gvw GMC Topkick its much better. The only advantage the Topkick has is speed unloaded...

    Deuce removeable hitch

Thats good news. I thought I heard the collection was used as collateral on a loan. Saw the hitch up close today and its well made. A lot heavier than it appears in photos. As a side note, man does Randy have some nice trucks!

    Deuce removeable hitch

Do you know if the museum is ok financially? Considering some of the things I've heard on the news about the auction park, it would be to bad if the collection got sold off. Is it a complete restoration on the jeep and 715?

    Cracked my trucks bumper markings

Thats what I found - a couple layers deep. Sort of like an archialogical dig. Plus the GL spray paint job couldn't have been more sloppy.

    Deuce removeable hitch

For my use, I would prefer some overkill also. This would be a neat option as you could use it on more than one truck.

    Deuce removeable hitch

Recht71, were your trucks in the Auburn museum last year? I thought your guntruck looks like the one I saw there. Really like your hitch idea, mainly because its removable. If you don't mind someone stealing your idea, what would it cost to have Matt make me one?
