Look under and behind the step on the drivers side of the truck and you will see the tanks and the valves to open you may need a small adjustable wrench to turn them :driver:
Sounds like that the shifter dog is worn out and it has jumped out of the slot for the shifting forks or someone had the shifter off and missed the slot when reinstalling the shifter
I have thought about this long and hard . My take on hold tanks on a M109 are to get 2 made at a local fab shop and put them behind the mud flaps at the rear of the truck so you can still work on the rears without a problem of having a tank in the way
When you change from bias ply tires you have to reset the toe end on the axle to 0 front and back where bias tires are set at 1/16 in on the front this may give you wander if you have not changed the toe end:beer:
go to the local hardware store and get the cheapested 1/4 inch bolts and that should do the trick bolts are just a little harder than the shear pins but a whole lot cheaper just remember to take along a shear pin for the correct length

The screw that you are adjusting is not for fuel it is the air ratio adjustment if you want to do the fuel you have to put a different size button in the pump
Just be aware that if you do the pos master switch .That it is possible to have power on some things .It is better to have it on the neg side of the battery . just ask anyone that races a dirt car or drag races this is the only way theywill allow the batteries to be hooked up
