Thank you for your great help guys. Yesterday I found in Slovenia an ex. US embassy M1028A2 with 28k on the clock for sale! Looks to be in good shape and missing the front protection cover. What is a fair price for this truck if it is in good condition ? I will get some pics later today... Jim

Thanks for the nice tips but this one is really fixed to the shaft ! Usually a little heat and some Kroil do the trick but this one is really tight... I also use my chain inside the 4 windows to pull it out but no luck also...

Finally I return the winch to the yard and take another that is never used ! Altough inside the brake housing was full of black sludge! I am trying to find out the way to remove the brake cylinder as TM say just remove it without any information !!! Rgds, Jim

Hello guys, I finally get an garwood winch which is never used ! But the brake housing is full of sludge and lightly corroded. I remove the bolt and the washer but I can't remove the brake cylinder. Also looks that there is not enough space for my pullers. Any suggestion to remove it properly ...

Hello guys, Actually there is two yards in the same place... They are located near Athens and I will be glad to provide directions to anyone who interested to visit them. There is +/- 25 Deuces here , 5ton wrecker and gasser tractor also +/- 25 M37s and M38s,M151s,CCKW,M1008,1009,M43. Also...
