I found some details that you can use group 31 or 24 batteries and that 6TLs should be avoided due...

As other guys suggest you are looking for the U435 series unimog (U1300 and U1300L)
An ex fire service truck has factory fast axles along with the OM366 engine (not the 366A as the latter is intercooled) these can fecth an high price and are in high demand.
Other option is an ex Bundeswehr U1700...

I have an Braden LU4 winch that I would like to rebuild...
I am trying to find out where I can get some seals for it and the spreader bar ???
Also is there any trick to how to remove the brake lever-handle from its shaft ???
I found around 10 M1008s in a yard in Greece...
Some looks real good but the problem is that there is no keys an any of them!
Is there any trick to can bypass the ignition lock to start the engine but without to damage the lock ???
