I can say for sure it helps with power. I put a set on my friend Martin Cox's truck. There is a noticeable difference in power, steering and front tire wear. If Martin wasn't always pulling a tank with his M923 I am sure we would see a difference in his MPG too.

I was working on making a set but found out that it was to much machining and they would be to weak. It takes 5 mins. To pull the stock outer hubs off and replace them with desplined hubs. Red Baron customs sells desplined hubs for $400. A set

I took off the old cab, hood and radiator. Cleaned and painted all the hard to reach places, replaced the rubber hoses on the back of the engine and replaced all the rubber mounts. My girl friend helped me install the new cab and fresh radiator. Next is re attached all the wiring, air lines and...

one thing everyone needs to know about all the new paints is: to meet the new VOC requirements manufactures have had to remove solvents. So make sure all the surfaces to be painted are sanded and cleaned. I always take my paint to the local paint store to be shaken too.

the dual fuel mod definitely makes the Cummins 250 run and pull smoother but I lost top end when I did it. I need to get more pressure out of the pump now.

Metal building insulation will work. there is a foam rubber that is just like the M939 hood insulation.

Nice truck. Make sure you snd your mechanic know the start up and shut down procedure so you don't burn out your ABS computer. The Operaters manual is a quick and easy read. A inspection and service is a great idea. These truck can all use a good grease. Make sure they get the stubby driveshaft...
