yes it can easily be done. I am not a wedge brake fan either, but I will wear mine out first. I have some Menitor spiders that will work with Q brakes. The fronts are the hard part. Freightliner front brakes look like the best fit.

Now that you have it home. Always remember to try not to drive in reverse in low, always turn the engine switch off first and the batteries last. A quick review of the operators Manual will help clear things up. Good luck with your new truck :)
