    Best CB To Purchase

Here is a radio from the copper site. Not sure how they rate, but the looks of it are high on the cool factor.

    Best CB To Purchase

It has been 15 years since I was really into this (CB radios and mods) but this place was a really popular place to buy from then. www.copper.com As far as what radio would be a good choice, there would be probably as many opinions as radios. I would recommend one with SSB as they are generally...

    Price check on 16.00x20

Check out CFI tire in Council Bluffs, Ia...1-800-734-0165. I hope that isn't breaking the rules, no offense if moderated. They are a big Ag tire outlet that carries many surplus 1400's and 1600's. They will give you a freight quote as well.

    donation of parts??? Please?

Another alternative might be 6.2 Liter diesel parts from a local salvage yard. That was the engine that powered CUCV's. You might be able to buy them cheaper then heavy parts can be shipped. Again best of luck. Dean

    donation of parts??? Please?

I wish you the best of luck on your project, but if I were you , I may want to have a few alternative plans in place in case enough parts don't come your way. For instance internet research and printing pictures of the parts you feel convey the message you want to convey. The sky would be the...

Thanks for the pics of the truck Kenny. I remember seeing that rascal on one of the gl events shortly after the tall one I bought. You must have done a great job getting it ready for this trip because it is being quite reliable. Those tops are pretty tall. I am 6'2" and can walk around in mine...

m817 water pump, gasket or pump failure

I try to use good hardware for several reasons. You're never buying more than a couple at a time, so a couple bucks extra for stainless is no bigee. But honestly the main reason is, I usually expect to have to do things twice, having clean fastners to work with the second time around eases the...
