4 m105s from Ft. Riley To SD

Does anyone know a shipping company that runs near Ft. Riley Kansas or know of a company that they used before to haul? I'm taking bids right now and would still like to find something a little cheaper than what I have got so far. Thanks.

4 m105s from Ft. Riley To SD

I have 4 m105 trailers that need to be picked up and transported from Ft. Riley to Southeast South Dakota. Does anybody have a hauler that they have used in the past around Ft. Riley that they recommend? I would also be open to anyone who would want to haul them with their own trailer. Thanks.

    Airborne M135

My Rambo tape at home is worn out in that spot from rewinding that clip so many times. I love it. I think I will hold off jumping any cars with my M135 for now though. But it's cool to be watching a movie with friends and be able to say " I have one of those"!!!

    M35 oil pressure and idle

What do you guys usually idle your M35s at? Mine right now is about 550 to 600 and it shakes really bad. speed it up to about 700 and it is smooth. Tonight I had a friend of mine who works on hercules engines tell me that the tractors idle faster and I should increase it a bit for a smoother...

    oil filter

I tried the wix number and couldn't get it to work. Did anybody figure out the correct filter for the M211 trucks? I think it is the mil senior oil filter?

    M35A2 filters and fluids

I wanted to know what the verdict was in filters for the deuce. I am between WIX and Baldwin right now for fuel and oil filters. I have a much better buy on Wix right now, but does anybody swear one way or another that one is far better than the other one as far as filtration and fit. I...

    something wrong with search engine???

I don't have AOL. I'm not sure, but whenever I search for anything it seems like very little ever comes up. With all the 1000s of posts here i'm really suprised that a lot of topics that i'm sure have been covered I can't find. Mainly right now I wanted to know what you guys are putting in...

    something wrong with search engine???

I was using the search on the left side. Must not like my computer. I just picked up 5gal of Rotella T for the deuce from TSC. Man, you guys could have warned me, that stuff was almost $50, lol. Oh well, cheap insurance for a good engine. I am using regular 80/90 gear lube for the...

    something wrong with search engine???

I have noticed lately that when I search for a topic say "engine oil" I have yielded very few results and most aren't related to the subject anyhow. I'm sure that there has to be several topics about what type of engine oil you guys are using in your deuces, but for some reason the search...

    General Deuce Questions

I would get a CUCV also. It's a good starter MV and will start to get you familiar with military wiring and systems before you jump into the big trucks. It will be easier to maintain and keep in your suburban area also. Down the road you can always get a deuce, but they are a lot more heavy...

    fuel spraying from primary

    A Year's Duty - The 200th in Iraq

The 200th is located here in South Dakota. I recognize some of the equipment and I was part of the 109th En Group. My Primary MOS is a 21E which is heavy equipment operator. They had some really neat up armored dozer pics that I got to see when I was in training. Wish I could find them now.

    Why is it called "early?"

That's actually not true. The m35 production started in 1951 with reo and studebaker being the main contractors of it. They might have called it the M34 still, but it was an M35 at heart. The M135 was based off the cckw with some of the parts interchanging. The army actually put the...

    M135/211 trans?

The REB kits work great on these trucks. I have 4 of them and love to drive them. I do have an extra unopened REB kit from memphis equipment that I would like to sell if anyone needs one. I also have tons of spare parts for these trucks. The tranny works well if maintained like everyone...

    fuel spraying from primary

It isn't the rubber grommet inside the cannister. It's spraying fuel from on top of the assembly near where the braket mounts to the frame. I think there is a removable bolt on top of the whole assembly that is leaking?

    fuel spraying from primary

I have fuel spraying from the stock primary fuel filter on the top. I recently took it apart and cleaned out about an inch of sludge. I couldn't believe how much crap was in there. I don't have a filter for it yet so I cleaned and reused the old one for temp sake, but after I screwed it back...

Deuce leaking oil from base of filter

Just curious, who is builder 77 for the oil filter kit? I got the price on the kit from John Tennis. Looks like a really great job, but cost is a bit high. How much cheaper are the spin on filters compared to the stock military ones from napa? It could take a long time to pay off the...
