I'm close, I'm putting it on my calendar, and hope to be there, likely on Saturday, what time in the morning does it kick off? My wife will likely be game as well, and we love painting!
So I spent some time crawling around under her this evening, she won't be on the road until title and tags show up, so plenty of time to kill getting to know her better. Looks pretty good, the transfer case was replaced not to long ago, the rebuilt case is dated 2007. While examining it, I...
I would think it would be doable. 400 BHP is easily achievable with the much small 5.9L Cummins used in the larger Dodge trucks, my 2004.5, which is a 24V truck easily puts down 400 BHP. The A2 trucks have an extra 2.4L to work with.
I had it shipped, short distance, so it was around $3.50 a load mile, but I had no time, and I didn't want to chance it to be honest. I had driven my last 3 back home, from even greater distance, but I was young and stupid once, now I'm just stupid.
Guys,
I'm looking for two things for the truck, can anyone help me?
1. I'm looking for the bumper bracket that retains the hood, mine is missing for some reason.
2. I would like a cargo cover, any leads on a one for a good price? I have the bows and all, just no cover.
Thanks!
So my 923A2 arrived yesterday from Delaware. So far so good, she cranks over and starts right away, runs well, batteries are good, tires are decent, just needs some paint. Looks like the entire braking system had been gone through and most of it replace not long ago. Oil looks nearly brand new...
It has finally arrived!
After getting out of the game, I'm back in for at least a little bit, won this one on the fateful GL website broken day, still trying to decide what to do with her!
More pictures to come!
I don't think it was a stupid move. Things could have gone wrong, but really worse case it would have been towed and the shipped the rest of the way home if it really broke.
The last 5-ton I sold went to a gentleman in Yakima, Washington. He drove it from central Ohio all the way home. This was...
This explains some things. I won what looks like a nice 923A2 for a lot less than I paid for my last, very rough 820. No EUC, paid in full invoice today, and if I can ever get a hold of the yard, I'll pay them a visit in a week to bring her home.
And why in the world do these not require a EUC??? I'm happy about it to be sure, but what's the deal? Also, the SF-97 procedure hasn't changed in the past few years has it?
