    Shipping a 923A2

Won a bid for a 932A2 this last week, it's only 136 miles from me, in running condition, at least around the yard. I've been out of the game for awhile, drove my last 3 trucks from a longer distance, but I'm less adventurous than in the past and think I might want to have it trucked down. Who...

    M37 barn find

Ok, I've looked her over, and I think it's too much for me to tackle. If anyone is interested, and thinks it's worth north of 1K, the lady who owns it will sell it to you. She can give you a bill of sale, no title, as the older gentlemen who had it doesn't have one. It was tagged in VA at some...

    M37 barn find

A few pictures coming shortly, although they aren't great. I'm guessing from the general comments, it's worth it to grab it like it is, and then decide. I did note that it is missing the data plate, so no serial as far as I could tell. I'll run over again sometime soon with a better camera and...

    M37 barn find

Guys, I looked at a M37 today that's sitting outside behind a barn. Looks like a typical M37 with winch. The engine turns over and was running before it moved to it's current position. Engine looks good externally and appears all original. Drive train in good shape, frame in good shape. The cab...

    5ton cedar stumper

I don't know, 5K is a good deal for a 900 series truck in running condition off of GL, I say they got a steal! Good to see her being put to good use!

Became a Steel Soldier today - The M915A1 Arrived!

As I suspected: Drivers Exempt (Waived) from CDL Requirements Frequently Asked Questions All he needs to be is 21, and using it for farm use, and have less than 2 vehicles registered over 55k and he's good to go. Farm use laws are nice!

Became a Steel Soldier today - The M915A1 Arrived!

Jwaller, I would imagine that it will be registered for farm use, and as such is likely legal for him to use it with training or not. In Ohio if I own over 10 acres, and declare it for farm use, I can pretty much operate anything on the road ways regardless of weight.

    m813 performance

I've always found my 814 to be slower than my Deuce, I always attributed it to the weight of the truck. The ratios however, based on name plates don't work out. The MF is good for what, 110HP, and the Cummins was suppose to be good for 250HP, correct? By my math: Deuce = 17 HP Per Ton M814 = 21...

People in Ft. Wayne area, rent a deuce?

You're not to far from me, but alas, I'm selling my 5-ton. I'm sure someone will pipe up and be able to assist.

    Ebay claims again-wow

If this thing sells for more than my 5-ton I'm going to be, very, very sad.

    M7 Priest- Worth while?

I would imagine it was worth likely 100 times that. If you can find it, buy it, and the restore it and post it all here!

Prepping the M814 for a long trip

Well, no long trip for the 5-ton now, decided not to drive it the whole way, I need something smaller I think for the new place, but that can be handled once I move. M814 Military Cargo Truck 5-ton 20ft Bed w/cover : eBay Motors (item 120560546785 end time Apr-27-10 15:31:42 PDT)

    They're both gone :-(

Here's pictures of the lonely 5-ton. Before and after shots. She's no where near perfect, but she'll do for now.

    They're both gone :-(

Tigger, it was! Glad to hear he's made it there so far, he's got a long, long trip! Planning on other stuff when we get to the VA area, hopefully a M37 and maybe a M715.

    They're both gone :-(

Yep, it's a pain to move, and even more so with 3 trucks and 500 miles between you and the new place. I'm thinking I'm going after something a bit smaller as well, sort of even it out. I think a M37 and a M715 are in my future. I would love a ferret or a fox as well. The new place has a huge...
