I would put my 2cents on ether. I know there is a few different thread configurations on these types of kits. Some you cannot screw a propane bottle on. I have heard that some you can although I have never seen one personally. I have 3 diesel powered machines with ether kits similar to the one...
Like someone else said, 3 trucks is just an average. They would start with a truck and take fenders, doors, etc that needed replacing from other trucks. The hood is just from one truck but they split it and added a strip of metal in it to make it wider. The later ones had fiberglass one piece...
I had considered doing something like this too. Then just went with a rebuilding of the 250. This will be great to watch. Got plans for modding the hood yet?
How much higher would it need to be, and where at on the hood needs raised? I've just got the duece multi fuel engine so I don't know if a turbo swap and intercooler would help much as I don't want to sling a rod out of the block.
I dont know for sure on that, but I am pretty sure it...
It would be great if you can get it done cheap esp. I dont know the process of making fiberglass hoods but if he makes one should he just as well make 10? 50? I too am just running ideas in the for what its worth dept. How about this. He gets a mold of a 5 ton hood and makes it a little taller...
Hi Owen,
Welcome. I bet you will be into a deuce soon if you hang out here. With your experience you will be able to both find and contribute good info on this site. Dean
I have never driven either truck. Just going by what the others said like posts 3,4,8, 12. If you can sneek a little more creature comforts out of something that means alot too.
At first I was just going to try and answer your question. But after reading these first posts, I gotta agree with the majority. Then you said it all "Go big or go Home!". When it comes to having an MV that makes more business scense esp. in your case, I think they nailed it. Much less limited...
I was not aware that there ever was a dual circuit deuce. Its a good thing you are saving it. That deuce is getting all the desired parts. Is that brake system something that could be adapted to the M35a2 ? You do nice work all around [thumbzup]
Glad I could help augiedoggy. I have been knee deep in the NHC250 for the past month or so, so I have done lots of parts searching. Good luck on the repair.[thumbzup]

How does this compare?
OK, update time. Its about a week from when I said this truck should be running in a week. Its a good thing I added the disclaimer on that. :) My injectors and pump arent ready yet. The tech has been sick and he should have them done by tues. As you can see by the pics there has been pretty good...
