    Are they really worth it?

I currently do not have the "HMMWV bug" so I should know better then to read threads like this for fear of catching it. That kind of thing seems to happen to easily with me. Best of luck on the decision Sevo.

    I bought one!

Your right, it is an otherwise sweet lookin' truck..If it were in my shop and I had my stuff all handy, I would probably wire wheel the race and spindle clean ( wire wheel on the 4.5 inch grinder) . Then I would take and do some spotwelds on the race with the wire feed being extremely carefull...

The bobbed A3 worked out nice in the memorial day parade

There cant be too many bobbed A3's out there at least yet. Do you know of any others? Looks great I think. Nice work. At this point I havent even drove an A2 yet.. still waiting on euc to clear. Anyway I like both trucks. Not hardcore on one or the other..

    Bought two M37's today

I can't help but to weigh in on this ethanol topic. In the '80s, I was a motorcycle mechanic in Fl. and to my knowlege there was no ethanol or any other oxygenate added to the gas. All I did day in and day out was carburetor rebuilds from bikes sitting too long. The moral of this story is that...

    Bought two M37's today

Sounds like a good carb job will make her fire right up. Then Sta-bil in the tank for storage will help to prevent it from varnishing up again. Some guys like to always drain all gas out of a carb for storage, but I just prefer to use the Sta-bil and keep the carb moist. Their is probably enough...

    'ello from SE Mn

Hi, I am from SE MN as well. Not far from Austin. I used to be an antique tractor puller and pulled in your town a few times if memory serves me. Welcome to SS. I am assuming those are military generators that you have and need filters for. You will want to post whatever info you can about them...

    Bought two M37's today

I was actually at that auction in the morning and looked over all that stuff. Heard about it on the radio and they said MV's so I had to investigate. I didnt stick around for the auction cuz my wife had a busy afternoon planned for me. Congradulations on the purchases. I am curious as to what...

Fixed! Carnac is broke down!! Needs help!!!

I would be glad to be on that list as well. Got a nice shop here on the farm. I am about 120 miles west of Sparta just off Interstate 90. In case someone is going west with something from Fort McCoy or just traveling 90 for any reason. Thanks, Dean

    making a trade?

Hmm , it would appear that this matter has been cleared up. At this point I would suggest to try and sell the bike possibly on craigslist and then look for a deuce to purchase with the money you get + prob a few extra bux. If you needed to come up with say 2000 extra for a deuce that runs, has...

    Dang Mice! Enough is enough!

A five gallon pail, three inches of anti-freeze in the bottom, and a smear of peanut butter about half way up the inside of it. Set it inside the cab on the floor. You don't even need to make them a ramp, those little (guys) will find their own way in. Empty it daily, they ripen quickly in the...

Deuce vs. 79,800 lb rig: Fail

Wow, really buried 'er. I can definitely see where that was more then a deuce or prob a 5 ton could move considering it was loaded. (Although I might hear it from the 5 ton guys on that, esp wrecker trucks) I just wanted to throw this 2cents in there. If anyone ever wondered why there are 2...

    Dang Mice! Enough is enough!

Lots of great suggestions and combining them all would be good...Something I havent seen talked about much is POISON folks. I live on and run a grain farm and the best I can hope for is to keep the rodent #'s down. Lots and lots of feeding stations (wooden boxes with a hole cut in it for the...
