    Deuce Help.. OPINIONS PLEASE...

Everyone has there own style of negotiating it seems. Why not try your 35. You can always go up but never back down. At any rate the 35-4000 range sounds decent for that truck as described

    While the radiator is off...

I pulled my radiator as well today on my deuce. The soldering that holds the shroud to the tank was broke loose so its going in tomorrow for repair and pressure check. My question is this. There is a big rubber molding-seal that runs up and down on both sides of the radiator that basically...

I'm 6'2" as well and know what you mean, but I can live with the standard height. I have a related question tho. Maybe you know this if you are into making a tarp, or someone else might. Were do I get replacement bungee straps for my tarp. Whatever you call it. The long black rubber strap that...

    alternative steering options the deuce

Does the control valve that replaces the drag link go in there with ease or much mods? Sounds like a great way to eliminate the hassles of replacing the deuce steering gear box. I wanna know more such as the maufacture of that valve. (A re-read shows Garrison steering) I imagine that the...

    Kaiser jeep or Am General

Well for the record I went with JEEP CORP for the manufacturer on the sf-97 for the two 1971 deuces. The general consesus seems to be "General Products Division of Jeep" or something very close to that. Does anyone have a good guess how long it will take to get the sf-97's ?

There is just no end to what you can do in South Dakota esp the western part. I really enjoy it when I get a chance to get outh there. It has been a few years now. Sometimes the attractions are spaced out pretty wide but the scenery is great and you can always pull over and have a buffalo...

The Volvo is a 1995 WIA64TES with a VED12 425HP engine and Volvo 14 speed syncro trans. The trans was not liked by most american truckers because single clutching is required every shift and was dropped after just a few years. Still used in Europe in some variation. I personally think it is a...

    New Guy posting

"If you guys have any advice, feel free to share it, I'd surely appreciate it." I would start sandbagging some money. With deuces being relatively inexpensive, you could be into one before you know it. Then go into the mods slowely as you can afford it. I am 6' 2" and 245 lb. I need to get...
