Nuthin too fancy here folks. After a 90 day EUC wait my rides are home. I hauled the 2 on the otr truck and my nephew and his friend drove the other one. I followed him up I-35 going 55 which is kinda hard to do in the semi, but I didnt want to leave them on their own. They came from Camp Dodge...

I cannot commit to this yet but it does sound like fun. First I need to recover my 3 deuces, which is planned for this coming week. Then I would have to get some confidence in 1 of the three to make the trip. This all can happen tho so put me down as a maybe.

Nice outfit here. I have heard that black painted deuces can get pretty hot inside if you have a top on it and its hot
out. Makes sense, nothing that an A/C retrofit wouldnt cure.
Thanks for posting this thread donkdonk. I'm glad I asked about using the m101 trailer. You did a fine job on the
build. I appreciate the pics and the details about the truck. I was wondering about those tires on the other thread pics.
You nailed it with this. "I think it gives the truck a...
Thanks for taking the heat on that one Preacherboy. I could have had the same question if I ever get my deuce
(still waiting on pif from 5073) I know you got your truck from that event. I must be one of the last ones waiting.
Anyway keep up the newbie questions so I wont have too.:lol:
lol, good thread. Thanks for bringing it back chaplain and adding your thoughts. I doubt that I would have happened across that on any of my searches but who knows.
I think this is called "thread resurrecting" but it kinda touches on something I have wanted to know but didnt feel it worthy to start a thread for. Can you use a M101 trailer on a bobber instead of a M105? I see here that the M101 might be physically smaller and not look right. If someone finds...
It appears you are right m16ty. Try as I may not to mix that up , I just didnt have enough coffee in me yet this morning I guess. I searched a little more and found this on another forum, so I have no idea if it is fact or not, but here is what I got. "The model 7000 engine is a 4 cyl, 4.56...
I think the approximate dimensions and weight are listed right there in the auction. ( The link of which I dont think you were supposed to post) I havent heard of the 7000 engine either but I am a JD guy. Some google searching found a rebuild kit for it on e-bay for 920.00. It says its 301 cid...
I see you are in Iowa. If there is an ag-chem (spray) equipment dealer in your town or area, they would have many choices of suction hose to choose from.
Ya, you never know what the guy will be thinking, maybe he will think that they did there job and he will be willing to let em go pretty cheap. When it comes to haggling I always have been a believer in "you can always go up but never back down"
