Too bad you are not closer, I would Challenger you to a tug-o-war. See how Much good your locking diffs are when I drag that puny truck all over the Wal-mart Parking lot:driver:
Depends on what the springs came off of... I have a set off of a concrete mixer rated for 40k lbs. On a bob deuce you would blow the tires before you even began to squat the springs.
counting rubber on the ground it would be 11x5, one more turning wheel then you could ever have:razz:
And the landy is all wheel drive with a central locking diff.
You wanna here what it sounds like when a guy with a British accent craps himself? (Language warning)
I wouldn't mind having a SEE or a 406 with a schmitd snowblower, and I will admit a 404 can go in places a deuce cannot, but I can always get out and walk there and back faster then a 404 can...
Spoiler
GL trucks are all MINT, OFF OF THE SHOW ROOM FLOOR LIKE NEW!. Drop some batteries in them and drive them home. BID, BID,BID...:hammer:
Some forklift damage is to be expected, easy repair, see attached image.
Depends on the area of the country... some places shops have to pay to get rid of it... If it has to be trucked a long way to be refined.
Check with your local trucking companies, they may be happy to give it to you. IMO if a guy has a company buying it, he isn't gonna be posting it on craigslist.
We often see 2.5 and 5 ton trucks with low miles, but 1500-2500 hrs on them.... It is a pretty good indication that military vehicles rarely have a correct odometer reading.
For 750. I would call a lowboy service and have it trucked, would not be much more than that.
I can't think of many members who are real close to there..
Last time I was at Knox they let us drive the truck off of base, that was back when Marcus ran the place... the guy was never on time and sometimes didn't show up at all... Maybe no fluids and tow it off is better than show up 7 times with nobody there to let you in... reschedule again.
Knox is...
Awesome project. So does anybody know what happened to the guntrucks after the war? Scrapped or left over there I guess?
