Putting a Deuce to work for me?

I've seen that. Pretty inventive manuver. Its amazing the way things can get done when necessity dictates. I am a little concerned though that he is doing that right next to traffic.

Pick up and store in Lansing MI

I'm about 2 hours south of Lansing in NE IN. Your welcome to store it here -- with my other equipment--plenty of space. I'm still waiting on my EU to clear to pick up my first Duece from WI. The trucks in Lansing seem to go pretty high for some reason.

    Driving test.....in the Deuce

I didn't know you had to take a driving test for a chauffeurs license. I'm pretty sure in Indiana you just take written tests for that. If you have to take a driving test anyway, you should just go for the class B or put on a trailer and go for a class A. If you do decide to pull a trailer over...

Calling all MA deuce owners, what's up with your insurance.

I'm not in MA, but here in Indiana I have a GMC Topkick dump with about the same GVWR as a Duece (still waiting on EU for mine) and the comercial insurance isn't that bad <700/yr. State Farm. I would think it could be less depending on your use.

Just chiming in as another member of the EU wait club. My info was sent in 3/13. Went to BC this past Thursday. Mine did not change from "Eu submission status pending" till last week. Best thing to do is chat with "Meredith" (aka room of computer operaters somewhere in India) or "Heidi" (aka...

    Stuck in my yard....TWICE!!

I just read back the thread a little to see some of the suggestions and noticed you already put some concrete steps down. I think gravel will work a whole lot better. From quite a bit of experience with mud - flat pieces of concrete will get really slick and move aroung when driven on. Can't you...

    Stuck in my yard....TWICE!!

Do you have access to a dump truck? If so just get a load of gravel in there (large #1s or 2s). Have the truck dump as it backs up to make a temp pad. Or if your nieghbor will let you use his tractor to get some gravel down. Then clean it up when things arn't so wet and use it for a parking pad...
