my friend runs duel 1100 x 20 NDT on his M35a2. It looks great and It is as big as a 5 ton is with 1100's. He is running a Multifuel LDS motor too. His truck really haul ass too.
Go to eBay and type it in. It is on YouTube too! No more jumping on the lug wrench, just twist the crank. It is called a gear reduction lug wrench. It braces it's self against the hub. It will break off a wheel stud if you go the wrong way! Best tool I ever bought.
I have a complete heater for your truck with controls and ducts too. $250. +shipping. PM me if you are thinking of adding one. I can put a more powerful engine in your truck too. good luck with your truck
There is a guy selling deuce tires in the wrapping in Lowell. Type in big tires or military tires in Craigslist Boston. Middleboro Auto salvage still has those deuces too
My buddy lives in Meriden Ct. He has two Deuces and he is selling the spare soon. The one he is selling is a 1984 M35a2 wo/w softtop, it has the bows but no cargo cover, The truck has almost no rust and has low miles too. I know he is spending the extra money to fix the small things that were...
Sandcobra164 it sounds like a strong theory. 1600's definitely highlight any issues that your motor is having. You may have clogged injectors, clogged filters or even crap in the tank. My Cummins 250 is running weak right now. I am also running 1600's. I am going to clean out my tank, replace...
Sounds good, but the I would stick with a Mechanical motor and drum brakes. Both are easy to work on and cheaper to fix. I guess it depends on your cash flow, time and if you have a understanding wife? Good luck and post up pictures.
I am looking forward to the shows this year. I will definitely be at the COMVEC show. It is only fair since that is where I caught the MV bug. We may want to post a warning at the gate this year " Warning, prolonged exposure will cause you to break out, in collecting Military vehicles" or "...
I have a old packing tool. It looks like two funnel one goes on the inside the other goes on the outside and a wing nut holds them together. Hook your grease gun up to the zirk fitting on the bottom and pump away with High temp wheel bearing grease. when the grease comes out bright red stop...
I like the shift knob idea! I have found a screw driver, nail clippers and some fired brass in my M813. The mice will leave chocolate sprinkles in the cab once and a while too.
We could also buy a new civilian truck too, but that would be NO FUN! If you have the parts and the time, then it is pure fun! That is what makes this hobby so addicting and what is more American then making a bad ass truck even better?
thanks Catman. I checked out the site. It looks like I will have to order direct from Germany. haven't ordered from Germany since I sent for my "Romper Stomper" sound track! Maybe that will be a Name of my Gun truck! I like it!
wish there was a US source
