I'll be putting in a freeze plug heater, done it before, and an oil pan magnetic heater, also no big deal. What I am wondering about is also putting in a circulating heater. Other than putting a tap into the lower radiator hose, is their another point I can use for the lower hose?

Anyone ever has a speedometer make a rattle noise? I've got a noise behind my cluster and can't track it down. I've pulled the gauges and secured wires and whatever else seemed like it might work.

So far I've come up with 315/75/16 & 235/85/16 & 255/85/16 as being the tall and thin choices. Which is the tallest and thinnest? Is there even taller and thinner that would fit? I also have access to 16.5 rims.

Are the black-out lights any good for anything civilian use wise? maybe fog / white out lights, maybe bed lights?

My warning light is on most all the time. What I've done is removed the power steering pump and thus drained the system and refilled. Replaced the rear brake lines at the same time. Lines are bled, and reservoir filled, but the light is on. Need to know what to do.

Wondering how much body lift can be put in a M1008 without "issues", and then how tall of a tire could be used to try to get to M1009 fuel mileage.

Well, found a burnt out fuse link from under the junction on the firewall. Replaced it and the others there that were not the two really heavy red wires with breakers and a fuse box. I also removed the link to the junction box and plumbed in a pair of 50amp breakers in parallel. Everything...

My wife was driving my m1009 home and it died. Completely died. No electric, no engine, no nothing, right while she driving. She had both alternators charging. Now there is no lights, no cranking, no glow plugs etc. The radio still works. Only thing I can think of is the ignition switch...

I know mine isn't what the TM (had my wife read it for me) says. Mine is 8 inches at idle, the TM says 10 at wide open throttle, to start at 20 at idle. Truck seems to shift ok, just a tad late into third.
