My truck also shakes enough to vibrate even heavy items off the seat, out the door, and all over my yard. This happens when the engine is cold and idling around 550. If I up the idle to 650-700 it smooths out a lot and I've been tempted to buy the idle adjustment tool to increase my idle...
I shoveled a path out to my truck to test the new-to-me wheel chocks in their racks.
I added some rubber Edge-Lok trim to my AM-1780 since it will be mounted up and behind everyone's head.
I added some color options for those that want one powder coated. Sorry, I don't have 383 green powder (but someday I will). Here are the choices:
Gloss black
Battleship gray
Corvette gray
Safety yellow
A darker industrial green (similar to a dodge pillow block bearing color)
I just got a fresh batch for 5 tons made up and they are ready to ship in their bare steel form. A powder coat option would add a few days delay.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm guessing it's turbo'd given the large hood scoop and passenger side air cleaner and with the US flag on it I'm wondering if it has ever been on US roads - that would be a wide load for sure.
I've been pondering this exact SS vs dual decision for my m813 for months. Many guys who went 16.00s mention lower stability or feeling like the tires are driving the truck. I hear 14.00s feel better and you can chain them up but they are about $200 more per tire and getting harder to acquire...
To be fair, the Rapco 383 brown was a good match. Since you're trying to match existing paint maybe a sampling of brands would be good to experiment with.
I tried the Rapco 383 and didn't like it. The Aervoe 383, however was a perfect match to the original CARC from 2001. Even after 9 months outside the Rapco is still overly bold to match the CARC.
You may be in luck - I just had 4 more cut on the laser today that should be ready to ship in a week.
I really enjoy reading your posts because everything you're doing is on my list and you're about 2 months ahead of me on your projects. Keep it up!
Very interesting - thanks for posting up those pics Will. I don't believe my truck is a USMC truck since it has no fording kit or lockers so that probably rules out a 29 Palms origin. My coworker was stationed at 29 Palms so I may quiz him on their dragon symbol...
I replaced my driver's side seat cushion and the old cushion had a tag that was labeled 'HHC 1-161 INF (M)'
I could not find any dragon clues from this as it led to Washington State Army National Guard. However, looking at pictures of the front bumper letters I can sorta make out a '9-3P-34' or...
