    Air brake question 2

If you are talking about a trailer with air brakes then the answer is yes. They are air over spring brakes; A lack of air pressure causes the spring brakes to engage.

Anybody here throw a bid at the SEE?

No EUC; these are considered tractors. I don't think they will issue a title on them so road stability isn't going to be an issue. You would have a hard time getting a Mog to do 50 mph. I wish I bid more; I always wanted one of these and never would have dreamed they would sell so cheap. These...

Anybody here throw a bid at the SEE?

Sweet: may I ask how much your bid was? Curious if I was even close to winning one at my ridiculously low bid of 4000.00

Anybody here throw a bid at the SEE?

3000.00? I missed that all together. Last one I saw on GL closed around 16000.00

    Stopped by the NCSHP

I actually looked into RV status and was told it requires a flushing toilet and a fire marshall inspection before the insurance company would cover it as such....

Anybody here throw a bid at the SEE?

Anybody here throw a sealed bid at the SEE that just closed on GL? I wanted to throw about 14K at it, but the boss said no. Probably wouldn't have been enough to win her anyway.

    Radioactive Deuce?

I think you will get more radiation from one trip to the grocery store if you stand in line next to a guy with prostate cancer than you will from driving a deuce with radioactive gauges for 50 years.

    Radioactive Deuce?

One just sold in the last sale at Ft Jackson that had the guages removed. My personal truck is still on hold for inspection of the guages. Mine don't glow, but they will not take my word for it. I guess at some point an inspector will come out to check them.

    Radioactive Deuce?

You can check the gauges with a Geiger counter and just replace them if they show a reading. The level really isn't enough to worry about, but if it makes them feel better.

GL is extremely helpful when it comes to preview.

I agree with the escorts because of the property security issue. I do think that if previews are going to be restricted to certain days of the week that they should post that on the listing instead of "by appointment only" That way those of us who live 500 miles away and arrange our business...

Any one knows of a M35 bed on a CUCV?

You would be better ff to fab from scratch I think. The deuce bed would hav eto be narrowed and shortend and you also have the issue with the two beams that rin down the middle 32 " on center. You woukld have to loose them and that will require extensive fabrication to build back up the...

GL is extremely helpful when it comes to preview.

A couple of days??? I gave them a full weeks notice. I think it comes down to that they really don't want to work with anybody on anything. They want to sell this crap without showing it, handling it, and often without taking any pictures of it. It isn't like they have 1000s of people charging...

GL is extremely helpful when it comes to preview.

NOT! So I have to make a trip to Alabama on Monday and thought seeing as I would be in the area I would stop in at Redstone and preview a few things for myself and some other people. So the call goes like this: Them: Let me look at our calendar........ We can do the 16th Me: No that will not...
