Well she is turning green. Last week I ran out of sand. This week it was compressor issues. The large hydraulic hose decided to leek. Well 4 gallons of 7 on the ground. You know it has to happen in the afternoon while everyone is closed. I had an old pump for my log splitter out back and...
Some bubbles at first though
Not enough fuel in the tank, clogged up filters. The fuel should really shoot out when the pump is running. Add another 5 gallons and bleed the system again.
What type of fuel. I had a lot of gas in my truck and it did not want to fire up or keep running. Drained and replaced with fresh desiel and poff all was better.
I have checked the fuel delivery to the secondary filters
Turn on the power switch and drain the primary filter on the frame. With the valve open and power switch turned on the fuel should spray out. Do the same for the filters on the motor. It sounds like you are not getting fuel to the IP.
My CJ5 had water in the front when I got it. Enough to kill the bearings. The gears were coated with rust. I cleaned them and put in new bearings and a locker. About 15 years later it is still going strong. It was the front axel but I use it about 40% of the time when driving. A lot of...
I think Hot Rod Deuce is running 16.00's which will need suspension modifications. They will not fir on a stock deuce. 15.5 or 395 / 20’s is about as big as you can go with out suspension mods. With the 15.5’s on my truck there is very little room between the rear tires but I have not had any...
Halftrack came to pick up some tires and rims and other things and brought me a drop side bed. Here are a few pic's of my replacemet drop side bed. Do you think he had a load on his trailer?
I am running them on my truck. Both front and drivers side rear front. I have the truck apart right now but there are some pic's posted. My rims are custom and about 3" wider so they don't really stick out.
Yes I like the M725 but at 6 mpg I can't drive it much with gas at $2.75 per gallon. I am looking at adding an overdrive to it to help on milage.
I wouls like to get the with of a 900 truck windshield and maybe add some swing out windshiels to it to help with the Texas heat.
Well I have 2 coats of paint on the back. It even looks kind of military with a few runs here and there.
Got the camera and the lens foged up comming from the AC into the oven..........
Yes I know better but it was a trip for compressor oil and a gallon of tea. Less than 3 miles from my house and nothing on my mind but the deuce. Even took the shotgun out of the CJ so no one would lift it while in the store. Called it in on the phone and confronted them in the act. I could...
Well Halftrack came and picked up some parts. He got here around 06:30 and left around 09:00 and then the wife wanted to go eat so I got started around 12:30 - 13:00. I blasted the back frame and axels. I had 10 bags of sand thinking it would be enough for the rear. Nope and nobody has...
When mine did the same thing I opend the air valved on the rear and it did not release. I was thinking the air pack also. Turned out to be the master. The trash in it cloged the holes so the piston would not allow the fluid to release.
RE: Re: Ouverson lockout hubs water leak
I would agree except that the grease inside the boot had very little water contamination ( still sticky red). I think the tear in the boot is recentbut not sure. For the water to get to the lockout and outter bearing would'nt it have contaminated the...
Mine did the same a while back after I got the truck. There was trash in the bottom of the master cylinder from the PO. Took it off and inspected. It looked to be NOS or rebuild. Clleaned it out and have not had problems with it.
