Can tou post PIC's of the heter system. I need to add one to my truck but not sure what parts I need.
I thought about adding an underdash unit but would like the original heater.
Was the air pack kit ok?
Don't want some yuppe jeep to show me up with open dif's if I get in deep mud with the big ugly truck. Really don't want to get out in the mud to hook up the winch either.
No hardcore wheeling. Deep mud fun with the kids. Was thinking the spool would cause steering issues but was unsure. Spool would be cheeper than lockers.
Thinking about adding lockers or spools to the M35.
For the front axel I thought about a spool. Only time it would be used is off road. I have Overson lockout hubs so on road it would be unlocked. Any real advantages to using a locker up front over a spool if not used on road?
Rear axel I...
I need one if you can find one. I have not been able to check the winch yet, ICE cold I'm inside, but it looks good from the outside but looks can be decieving.
The roller bearing is exposed and no seal. I am guessing that there is a cover that bolts on like other winches or did it mate to something else?
Anybody have a cover?
I have seen them on the hood and on the roof. I'm not sure if there was a specific place. I am going to mount mine on the hood when I get tired of playing on the M35.
TheBuggyman, you might try Fastenal. I traded Derby some 20 bolt rims for some tires and he found the nuts at Fastenal for $0.65 each. They were a supplier for military. If they had the nuts for the 20 bolt rims I would bet they have the nuts for the 10 bolt rims.
I think the M35 TM calls for 150# and then back off. Retorque to 50#. Old school is tighten all the way down, back off, hand tighten then about 1/8 to 1/4 more. I would guess the 5 ton would be the same.
