I scored a 5 ton winch several months back. Was thinking of adding it to the rear of my deuce but it sure is big. I am in need of the bearing retainer plate that goes on the PTO shaft and the drum lock. Anyone have access to parts that might be able to help?
Try piling one of the axels and covering the hub. A front drive flange works good or a flat plate and bolt it on. You will have the same results with out pulling the drive shaft and a lot easier to reinstall if needed.
I went to 15.5 20 on mine at 70#. Bounce, bounce on every bump. I dropped down to 35# and helped a lot. Might go down to 25 - 30# and see. Not carrying any weight in the bed.
I have one rim with a new 14.00 20. Still has the Michelin man on the tread block. Shipping would be a killer unless you found someone coming that way.
