I added a muffler to my truck and had noticed that the stud bolt for the windshield spinner would hit when you tried to lower the windshield. One of those I need to fix but never did. I went to put the windshield down and forgot about it. After a minor dent in the muffler can, the bolt and...
Keep it disengaged while driving and keep the drum lock on to keep the cable from un-spooling. I put my deuce in a bind the other day and the PTO tried to engage from the frame flex and pulled the winch cable in really tight. Glade I had it hooked good to the bumper and it did not take out my...
The guy in Gatesvill might have some. I went last night but he had 1 1/2" rain and it was getting late. I was looking for some for myself, just could not make it all work at the time.
If somebody could post up what I need would be great. I have no idea what is needed to make the troop seats and cover work.
What is the going price for a duece tailgate?
RE: Fluids
Tube split was either trash in the tire or streched tube. I had to dis mount and re-mount that one and did not take it all the way apart. Short cut cost in the long run. I am running 12.00 20 radial tubes and they streched out a lot. My rims are widened to 10". I have run...
The roller by the rubber will move from side to side. It did not feel like it had a spring inside but the rubber does keep the roller pushed to the one side but moves easily.
I am looking at getting some troop sides for my deuce. Does the deuce use the same cross bows as the 105 trailer or are the bows specific to the deuce. I found a place that has lots of pieces and parts but I was not sure what I needed to look for.
Wood or fiberglass? He has both and wants $25...
RE: Fluids
When the tube split the tire went flat really, really fast and bead came unseated. I guess the fluid came out then. I was running at least 55-60 or faster and it was a wild ride. The tire was warm, not hot. The lugs on the outside edges got eaten buy the road. I am sure it took...
RE: Fluids
With the tubless you will be better off with balance. I have 15.5's on split ring with heavy flaps. I had one turned on a spin balancer and needed about 34oz to balance. I added about 2 quarts of 50/50 antifreeze. iIt did help but might need more as I am still getting...
Yes it’s been asked, yes it’s been answered, no it has not been answered, yes it has.
For a street truck with air shift I would think that normally the front is never locked in. Road manners are a lot better with front lock out hub / drive flanges. Not having my knuckles busted was a plus...
Put a set of desplined hubs on the front and pull one rear axel and replace with the front hub and drive it. See how you like it and go from there.
I noticed a lot of difference and like it.
The rear axels have the drive hub made to the axel. (all one piece) not like the fronts that have the splined stub axel shaft that fits into the drive flange. In order for the lock out hub to drive on the rear axel you will need a double splined axel. (splines on both ends) one end to go into...
Clear as mud. On the front steer axel you need 2 lock out hubs or 2 desplined hubs. On the front rear drive axel you need one lock out hub and 1 double splined axel. Leve the other side alone. You also could pull the drive axel and bolt on a front hub and accomplish the same thing but if you...
Question #1 Lockout hub and double splined axel shaft for the front drive axel. Sprag or air shift?
Question #2 Yes, maybe, and yes
From my truck with the front axel lock outs and front drive axel lockout.
Yes it will help with driving. Takes out a lot of the knuckle busting and steering...
RE: Re: RE: Door lock
You can go to an RV place and get a locking door handle. I did it on my M725. When it is green no one will know unless they are in to the trucks. If you want to make it more secure you can drill the screw heads so they can't be removed. No exters holes to drill / cut...
