M1083 Voltage drop and intermittent start issues found

I still don’t understand how the LCBD didn’t protect his components. Seriously think he’s got something else going on

    1083 AO Transmission fan

It’s gone. hoping to go but 50/50. Will be in CUCV if I do

    1083 AO Transmission fan

It’s unlikely you will ever see those fans come on. Just have to find the sensor and unplug it I’m sure. They normally default to a failure=on mode.

    CUCV 1008,1009, 1028 prices.

Of course there are outliers, always will be. Always the rot boxes that are worth the axles and that’s about it-to over restored over priced trucks that are unlikely to actually sell at that (though a fool and his money are soon parted). I stand by my thoughts for average trucks in average condition

    CUCV 1008,1009, 1028 prices.

Anything squarebody is insane. But I think it’s a bubble to some extent. Nice rust free 1028 with original correct axles probably realistically in the 7-9 range. That’s what I see here in NC

    2009 Lmtv M1078A1 Charging System

    How did you make out?

    2009 Lmtv M1078A1 Charging System

No. Pull your gauge panel. Two large white plugs that look like they should be plugged into each other need to be unplugged. Those dump body and van alarms point right to that.

    2009 Lmtv M1078A1 Charging System

Ok ok. pull your dash panel, unplug 912/913 I think are the numbers. They look like they should be together but they are for dump body and van body options. Cause ALL KINDS of gremlins when connected together.

No power, funny noise. . . Ideas?

It didn’t magically go bad because you worked on the other side of the motor. Sounds to me ( and would be much easier standing there) like a boost leak. Need to check every single clamp from the turbo, through the intercooler, back to the intake.
