I just cleaned enough grease out to make it easy to clean the grooves where the boot goes.
Didn't repack or add grease before putting the boot on. Afterwards you can grease the top and bottom king pin zirts and that will end up in the knuckle.
Some time the "park" button sticks. Hold the park button in on the motor that works and see it it pops the button out on the other motor. Don't know why it does, but it does on mine.
You just have to look around. Be prepared to go to one of the neighboring states. My trucks came from SC and GA. AL has a lot go through also.

Unless the cracks are gaping open I wouldn't worry about it. Mine leaked grease for a long time (found out the zippers weren't sealed) and I didn't change them until the zipper blew out.
Don't drive through any deep water.

You can make a cheap viscosity tester by getting a ladle (one with a cup on the end for dipping in big pots) and drilling a hole in it. Time how long it takes for diesel to run out then and use that as your reference point. You can calculate viscosity changes for different mixes by comparing...
