You can replace with regular wire as a "very" temporary fix. Have you read the Fusible Link 101 sticky? It shows how I replace fusible links.

If you do the Rosscommon conversion, you can remove the starter relay and jumper the two purple wires. Or just leave the relay in place.

All it takes is a couple of o-rings and some steel wool. I'll see if I can find the print numbers. I got mine at Ace hardware.

The tank selector valve needs a rebuild. Not hard but time consuming.

There is also a button for the passengers to signal the driver to stop.
