In Florida the statute says that any military vehicle regardless of year or weight is eligible for a antique tag as a historical vehicle. See if VA has that in the statute.
Good luck.
Me neither. Make sure you have your seat belt on; I can't tell you how many times I would have been launched through the roof if not for that. Ear plugs.
Have fun.
If the code enforcement process is like Orlando, it is an anonymous system. The complainer calls in, talks to a machine, and gets a reference number. They can call back later, punch in the number, and check on the status of their complaint.
My wife found that out during one of the "code lady"...
You need to read the city code relating to commercial and RV parking. There is probably a length and or weight restriction. Also read the definition of commercial vehicle and RV for the related code number. You will probably find that 3 axles means commercial vehicle regardless of weight. If...
Big hills in them parts. Make sure the brakes work good. Grand Tetons are south of Yellowstone and it's a pretty drive. There's a lot to see in a short time.
I don't see beer on your list.
Have a good trip!:grd:
You have to have the right adults supervising. I'm sure most of us around here wouldn't qualify.
Sorry to see your crunched Deuce WM. Apply hammer technology to the hood and grill. That and a little paint an it's good as new.
I'm not sayin' nothing about my screwups; the list is long and...
No doubt! You don't realize how big it is until you stand at the back and your shoulders are level with the floor. To borrow a quote from Oddball007, "you got to be Spiderman to get up to the door handle"!
I have the 3/4" impact from the Chinese tool store. $100 more or less on sale. It rips the nuts off with no problem just using the on board air. All the tires have been off and on at least once. My deuce is regulated at 120 psi.
I have also used it to remove and reinstall a pinion nut on...
I use an automotive air filter mounted in a container that I pour the oil though and capture the filtered oil in a 5 gallon gas can. It runs through fairly fast and I only use oil drained out of my vehicles so no worries about anti-freeze.
Because I can't help myself.
More than 2 years since this thread started and the truck isn't fixed yet? Maybe a course in heavy truck repair and a job that pays enough to buy the parts would be helpful.
Just sayin'.....
You can put it all in perspective with a dollars-per-mile cost. With the M818 at 6 mpg I figure about $1 a mile to operate it. That's fuel and wear items, tires etc. You will be probably $1 or more a mile just for fuel.
It's a hobby, you have to pay to play.
Have fun.
