Torque Rods a Dogbone
Hey....I'm looking after my sisters dog and she gave me extra dog bones for a treat....for the dog....
Then we go visit my Nephew and left the dog in the yard for 5 minutes. The dog destroys the back yard then denies getting into the garbage.........so no treat for her...
New parts don't work
GMC135 said it best, "These trucks have a mind of their own".
After installing capacitors, resistors, cap, rotor and smiling because no parts were left over.......She wouldn't start. Lot's of whirrrrr but no spark.
Ran through pages 219 to 225 of the TM's for the truck...
Stage 1
Great meeting you Sean and I have all the confidence in the World that you'll have
a successful trip.
You're one of the youngest MV addicts I've ever met so it'll be cool to see how
many you collect in the next 70 years.
I'm sure our Southern brothers will get your back if you need...
Off Road
Still paying the price for taking the 1010 'off road'. Will always pay the price when you beat your gear.
After a day of fun there can be hours and hours of work to get them road safe and bearing happy again.
It's more fun and cheaper to use your buddy's gear when going off road...
Things that come loose
Ironic, spent the day on the 135 re-torquing everything and the Gunfreak bumps a nuts post. Thank you.
Need to agree....around 30% of existing and new 'fasteners' on the 135 did not meet spec..... as per TM. Things I tightened to spec. 50 miles ago came loose. Tighten...
CCKW Tractor
I must see your CCKW. I found a link while searchin' for valve train data for my 302 but you should be running a 270, like the vid........that's all I know.
Lay out some questions and you should get some answers.....unless you're flyin' everyone over to help.
I will...
Thanks for the kind words Stan.
We hear of a lot of people going to memorials and showing their "respect" for others that have already left us.
Appreciating each other while we're here, while tolerating our differences.......we may be different then others Stan..... It just seems to be the...
Distributor cap dif
Thanks Topo,
in the foreground of the side view pic of the engine compartment is the "original" distributor. It has a thumb type cap with access to the center of the distributor.
The new distributor, and your topo.... shows no center 'plug'.
It's like the old Chev caps...
M135 Birthday Tune Up
The 1956 M135 turns 56 on the 16th of March and my Dad turns 85 on the same day.
To celebrate the trucks 'champagne' birthday we're finally getting at the distributor, condensers, cap and rotor. On Friday we pick my 168 year old parents up and take em' for cake...
Wc id
Thought I had it but the roof line looks wrong.
I searched "Dodge WC images" and checked a few motor pools but.......
......not havin' any luck. Very unique. Look good with a hemi and a blower out of the hood.
I'll dig deeper later if it hasn't been solved but I'm sure someone will...
M211 ag
I found a master cylinder. PM me the address for a third time and I'll send it.
There's over 326 square feet of real estate to paint on that thing so take your time. It's lookin' real good.
Your Yuma easybake oven will help when you get the "STOCKSMITHING" done.
Paint in the morning...
Spline count
I think this is it..... Not to Bob but ......differential madness;-)

G749
I like that..... BIG tires, cool cab...... Could you please tell me the size stamped on those tires?
Here's your drive-line rolling by.
The diffs/ t-case are most certainly G749 as stated by others and can be from a couple different trucks.
M135/ M211 are the same wheel base but they...
Now that's a truck. We've got a great Regina connection and I've got time to tour until break up if you need something on the way back. I need to visit Regina someday anyways.
Dial us when you're coming through and we'll grab some running video on the highway.
Nice work
Lists Lists Lists
Wish I could help more Sean but my 2 1/2 ton nuts will only be half the size of your 5 ton nuts.:-D
It takes some out of the box thinking sometimes to dig data out the the SS base but I believe it's all right here.
Target search functions for your list came through 'google'...

What they said.
That's a nice find that will make your cheeks sore from smilin'. Can you post a lot of photos because I require visual stimulation to override memory loss.
There are lots of questions that can be answered in the TM's however I've read them...
