I finally got the 5-ton fifth wheel plate out of the back of my 813 and onto the US6x4...only took a little over a year. This will get mounted to the Studebaker until an original can be found.
This had the same NSN # as an M818 fifth wheel (which is almost identical to the original) but it...
Amer-team & JEB, do you plan on presenting the other cases of precedent from the other states that have legalized HMMWVs and relaxed the laws on other MVs? Wisconsin comes to mind but there are a few others talked about in the politics section and those successful cases might hold some sway...
Great detail in your write-up! This will be a big help to folks like myself.

Are you using a gasket for the new cover or straight glue?
Did you ever find the caps you needed?
I need to keep some for my own intercom but I could spare you 4 of them. If you're interested, PM me when you get a chance.
I have these 2 pieces that are brand new - remo6from my NOS M35 winterization kit. They're off of the heater box that mounts under the hood. PM me if you're interested in either or both of them.
Thanks for the compliments fellas - I appreciate it!
I had briefly thought about making these to sell and a few people have brought that idea up, but there is so much involved that it would not be practical - it would have to be a labor of love. My machinist says there's about $300 worth of...
