The eproms are cheap and easy to get, you should be able to get the entire TCM with eprom for about 250 or so much cheaper than the alternative not to mention the work involved.

On any custom order tempered is always more expensive than laminate, it must be cut first then tempered, most glass houses have no way to temper, laminate can simply be pulled out of stock and cut.
