This truck is not a true 1 ton it had the dana 60 front axle taken out and it has the 10 bolt front axle in it i saw it a few weeks ago if you bid on it know that you dont have a 60 front end.

thats odd !!! i know a guy on here had a block and a small freeze plug fit in it and he did not have to use a tap he just pressed it in to the housing.

thw newer blocks dont have the hole machined in the sensor area for fuel to leak out.

Yes i had the same issue i bought one also i hooked everything else up and left the sensor wire off the wiring harness unplugged and i have has ZERO problems not having that sensor on my fuel filter housing.

hmm i need to find those exhaust manafolds ! i have a BBC truck 4 core radiator in storage maybe i should just use that ?

what headders did you go with ? are they long or short ? and where did you get the adapters for the radiator ? and hoses do you have part numbers for this stuff ? cool pictures

i have the same issue with my new motor and i got a fuel pump for it plus we put an fittings on the TBI

does anyone know if a tbi stock wiring harness with bolt up to the stock fuse block in the truck ? or do i need to change it out ? also when switching to a 454 can i use the stock torque converter or do i want to get a gas torque converter ?

it should be the same bottle jack from any k5 or truck or burban from the 80's thats 4x4

i jsut cut more holes in my air filter cover...i think it helped but it made it alot louder in the cab.... i hate my trucks exhaust it makes such a bad noise in the cab at 55 to 60 mph
