Welcome to the site.
It still isn't firmed up yet but we hope to have a rally just east of Wyandotte in June 22nd-23rd the same weekend as the OK full auto shoot.
The simple answer is 24052 is the federal standard code for the paint. Tell the paint guy you want federal standard 24052 exterior semi-gloss, it is in their computer. If he doesn't know how have him get someone else that does. FS24052
Last time I was there we parked at an outlying Metro station and rode the subway in, cheapest way to beat the parking fees.

Welcome to the site from a southern neighbor. reb87 uses a lot of former military trucks in his operation, don't know what part of the state you are in but he's a husker also. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/album.php?albumid=246
Some got the BO lights and some didn't my 890 came with them and the KPH speedo. I am pretty sure the only trucks with the voltage gauge were the radio trucks that came with the extra 24V system. My tank company's didn't have the 24V so they carried a PRC 77 backpack with them.

"Great minds think alike" A little over a year ago I was by myself and got a flat in the 818 with the 5th wheel bed. No way in the world I could get the flat back on, so left it in the ditch. Came back the next day and luckily it was still there and got it. Within the week I made my first trip...
Just happened to catch gbooth down at the man cave today and tried to take a couple of more pictures. He is really a marvel about finding stuff to work that I would have never thunk of. The gear box for elevation is the rear end and drive shafts from a golf cart, some of the linkage are 3/8...
Pete you are no slouch either, I am waiting for an up-date of your Craig Systems Shelter Camper Build.
Having guys like Soni, you and others on this site that not only have back grounds in engineering knowledge, but also the talent and the skills to make it design art gives the rest of us...
Thank you oboyjohn for the close up pictures, this will be next in line on my to do list. Instead of of the BO drive I am doing a hole on each side and putting the armored spots there. It has amazed me how your military made these trucks more user friendly besides this mod, the cab basket, MLVW...
I think LowTech has been doing it for awhile with a M105 trailer and think he just put one in the back of his duce. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?103143-Riding-the-Draggin&p=1313125#post1313125 He and Beyond Biodiesel both live out in the desert SW where day time temps really aide...
I am posting this to help remove some of the confusion on which frame goes to which tent and to save folks from making a costly mistake. A lot of us have gotten the NOS skins for TENT, FRAME-TYPE, EXPANDABLE, 16 FT ×16 FT, (also called Frame,Expandable FWWMR,Lightweight) and have had trouble...
Not sure about long beds but he has TONS of 14' beds, with one of those you could mount the spare tire davit and spare between the bed and cab or you could build a crew cab "Elmo" like Dave did.
