The LaQuinta in Russellville (479-967-2299) was our host hotel and will be again. I checked with the hotel manager "Dusti" and she will give our group the "military discount" again. The rooms are $77 for one king bed, $82 for two queen beds. Pets are free, there is a free hot breakfast...
One thing I have noticed since the site upgrades is if you start a new thread, the site no longer throws up similar threads like it used to. That feature saved me from many snarky replies. :burn:
Here are a few pictures from today's visit, did not pull parts as I was in a hurry to get home to paint my duce. Should have stayed and junked, got home and have 25mph winds! Did get to spend time with my new to me M10 trailer, thank you again Glen from saving it from the crusher. Alot of 923s...
I was out at BFR today to drop off twlinks armored drivers hatch cover and to pay Glen for WWII M10 trailer we saved from the crusher. The weather was great so went roaming around the Mil yard and came across this battery box on a junker M923 it sits on top of the BII box. I have never seen...
Glen it's about time you got some color for the lot and somehow I knew you were the one bidding on them. I was bidding on one of the 35A2, the one that didn't run but folded when it went over 15.
Did you use the manual and bleed the air pack first? I say this as a lot of folks start at the wheel cyl's step by step is here http://www.ccsurplus.com/sites/ccsurplus.com/files/manuals/TM9-2320-209-20-3-2.PDF para 13-15
The 3 lever switch on the 880 isn't a pain like on other mv's as you don't have to mess with it. Just set it correctly and use the Dodge switch to turn lights off and on. One of my 890's came from the fire service the same way as yours but they left the hole and had the 3 lever switch rtv'd up...
The lift kit was long gone, I was hoping my weird lower brackets were for a mobilizer, but they are not. Only original things inside of mine were heater/ air exchange fan, electrical wiring and lights which I removed because of bad ballasts. My inside walls and ceiling is all Masonite which...
George would you get pictures of the underside of your shelter? I would like to see how it attaches to the trailer and if it has skids. Mine has the remains of skids and appear to have been made of wood not metal like the newer shelters have. Also what size are the wheels/tires? Thank you in advance
Nice find, there are a lot of the original brush guards out there new in the box cheap. I picked one up last year in box with all the hardware for under a C note to put on a 880. Sorry don't remember where I got it.
Got this in an E-mail today.
We are in the planning stages of the 10-11 May 2013 Red Ball Display and Convoy out of Russellville. It will help with the planning to get a general idea of how many plan to attend. This is not a firm commitment to attend, as sometimes plans are altered as the...
