It's not ARH paint, Haage is a dealer for Aervoe paints. I do not use that brand but there are several threads on here. Most paint problems are caused by bad prep.
2INSANE why not just use the site hosting, that way we don't have to go clicking to see your pics. Just hit the "go advance then, Manage attachments" easy peezy!
You might want to beef up the bed frame or bigger king pin plate, but the way I did it is a natural dump. The normal ride of the bed is below and you have to really pull to get the front end down. I ended up securing mine with hitch pins up front and swing out angles on the back. Only used it as...
I wish I had found this post earlier but basically did the same as DAP, the old school etched aluminum data plates this works like a champ. If you can feel the lettering with your fingers this will work. I got an older mystery shelter that had this plate on the outside,
1. I used 0000 steel wool...
Nope a lot of them are the basic shelter NSN 5411-00-999-4935, The EMI shielded ones are out there and have this NSN 5411-00-489-6076 and should have a metallic screen over the door gaskets.
Nope I decided against it for several reasons.
1. I didn't have at the time have extra cash to buy a set of 5T combat rims. Turned out there were mounted on the 3 piece PLS rims
2. I had just purchased 2 M146 trailers and didn't like the looks of the trailers being up at that angle.
3. Drove...
Yep it starts around here #34 I think there are some pictures in one of my albums also. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/album.php?albumid=1374 I had thought about recessing a box in the middle with the king pin but decieded against it, when we laid it out it took up way too much of the bed...
Camo , Help! in title should be reserved to, Help! I am broke down on...... or Help river is rising and I am stuck. A better title "Can't get my 915 brake lights to go off" 2cents
Use whatever the PO used, if he doesn't know what fluid is in it I would take anything he has told you with a grain of salt!2cents There are several threads on what folks think is best for these old girls in The Early Deuce...

I lucked out and found the cap for the vent hole inside after we got home. Nobody has any ideas on if those are mobilizer brackets ?
Did a quasi restore on a data tag I found under the deck plates that explains part of it. Glad it was an old school etched plate, cleaned it 0000...
Looks like it was part of the Nike system there were a bunch of different ones and usually had a dolly for the king pin and were made to set on the ground. Also Nike trailers have shocks and coil springs on the dolly and rear axle .
I had some Xmas money burning a hole in my pocket so sprung for a pair of the molle seat covers for my 1009. Set was $199.96 delivered from http://www.autoaccessoriesgarage.com/Jeep-Interior-Accessories/Smittybilt-GEAR-Seat-Cover . I have had it for 2 years and thought I had cleaned it out...
No date plate other than Craig s/n and it was shelter for the AN/TRC-32 radio set. The question I have are these brackets for a mobilizer if so which one or are they for something else? The lower bracket is 18.5"off the ground and the upper is 74" I have a M720 mobilizer but it is a no-go. If...
Can't really speak on that brand but the early Dodge VF they just painted over the chrome cross and ram head on the hoods. You can see where it has worn off over the years and the chrome is coming through.
