I would suggest driving it around in your local area for a while to let things settle in and break the new seal in. I always do and it has worked for me so far.
If you don't have an infrared temp gun you should get one. Sometimes they feel much hotter than they really are. I've thought mine were too hot before, but when I hit them with the temp gun they were only 115-120 degrees. I would be comfortable with temps up to the area of 140-150 on longer...
