LED headlight gripe of the day

And I know that you aren't going to tell me that the heat sink being covered and having no airflow has nothing to do with failures. There is no way that having a heatsink covered is a good thing.

LED headlight gripe of the day

That is an led projector. Made by J.W. Speaker.

LED headlight gripe of the day

No the LEDs don't, the drivers do. There are transistors in the housing that drive those high powered LEDs and they produce a lot of heat, hence the reason for the large heatsink on the back of the lights.

LED headlight gripe of the day

All of mine have been that same failure mode. Try drilling or cutting some ventilation holes in the back of the headlight buckets. Hose ends ... upgrade to camlocks?

90% of my camloks are aluminum as well, it is just a whole lot easier to go to Tractor Supply when I need one quick, so I have a few poly ones now.

Hose ends ... upgrade to camlocks?

I use all cam lok fittings for my fueling systems. You can get poly fittings at Tractor supply pretty cheap and they do carry them in 3/4" size. You can get spare gaskets there too. Just make sure that if you go with poly, go with all poly. If you try to join a poly fitting with an aluminum...
