Put me down for 2. I know I had originally said 4, but we are under a budget crunch here. I will be lucky if we get to actually paint the M35 this spring.
How many does that make?
FMJ, I understand what you are asking.
My guess is; If the GM lobby was indeed the reason for the current policy concerning the release of the HMMWV, they will still make the same argument so they can sell their over priced SUV line. (Suburban, Tahoe, Yukon, etc.)
I've talked to more than one with that view. A couple of guardsmen I know said they thought it was pretty cool the first time they started bringing in all that equipment to sell. By the end of last year they were pretty fed up with everything being in their way all the time.
I didn't know they...
They're still loading them out
A friend of mine and I were in Frankfort yesterday, and we saw a deuce on a flat bed truck headed toward I-64. From the airport, we could see another loaded, and another moving around like they were getting ready to load it.
The pile at Frankfort is getting...
This is Deuce 1 in front of our frozen lake. The lake has around 4" of ice. The most I've ever seen on it was 6" a couple of years ago.
It might not be much to some of you guys in higher elevations, or up north, but it's pretty impressive for Kentucky.
Because the M817s have a "headache rack" above the cab, they can't have the antenna mounted around the back. They have them mounted to the cowl, over the side vent. (see pic one) There is a little bracket that moves the mirror mount out of the way of the antenna, but I took it off. Don't worry...
First the national Boy Scout museum moved from Murray, now the Patton museum is moving from Ft. Knox, I wonder what's next?
I vote we move the state capital from Frankfort to Nome Alaska. :D
On the lock issue: None of our battery boxes lock but all of our tool boxes do.
We have 3 trucks and 3 different ways of locking the tool box. The first picture is the M817. It is a factory hasp that is welded to the box and passes through a hole in the door. This is the behind cab box, but the...
That is probably a good part of the problem.
I have only had one SF-97. We bought a '99 Dodge 4x4 at a USFS auction, about 4 years ago. They gave me an SF-97 (on the spot and for free, I might add) When I took it to the Montgomery County Clerk's office, the person waiting on me looked at it and...
The process here in Montgomery County sounds like the same as number9 went through in Morgan County. It is usually quick and painless.
greenjeepster, the only way I know to get around them trying to use some worthless chart for your sales tax is to use this form...
That's good news. I'm not concerned with the cost as much as the couple of days it would take to get one delivered.
I've already replaced the rear main, and cut new gaskets for the input shaft housing and bell housing. If I don't have to order a counter shaft plug, it's ready to go back...
