Kind of shows us how long its been since bias ply tires were common . They all did that even on a small car .
I have a GMC jimmy on 36 " bias , man it takes 5 miles or more to get them rounded out .
Sounds like shes a bit bossy , id toss her to the curb . Then again if your the money maker shes talking smack . She wont leave as long as theres income . Trust me , my wife has been here 32 years and she dont even like me
Why ? Do you really like the look of the cab , front clip !
for all the things you want to do id think finding a civlian 2 ton 4x4 like a 4900 international from an electric company would make a much more suitable platform for all you mentioned .
DT 466 , auto trans , ps pb ac lockable ...
Iv owned my deuce less then a year , its my first mv so ill tell you what iv found .
Im glad im a jack of all trades , can trun wrenches , can weld , basic knowledge of trucks .
I bought a truck i think was in better then average shape , still i had the fuel filters plug up , whole fuel...
Its an internet thing , all things on the net require a certain amount of mystery to function . Im cluless and thats my best guess .
Im trying to hit 1,000 post so i can post my wife for sale or trade . requirements are much higher for those post .
Im sorry , im in a good mood and the world...
Id agree , leave them on . You can pull one off if it goes flat or to put on the front if you have a front go down on air .
For ride , id let the air down on the rears too . they dont need no 50 psi to hold up a frame rail and it will help a bunch on ride . I run 30 in my rears with the box...
I am a towing company in Mi. The average officer is clueless as they normally have 1 or 2 officers that deal in abandoned veh paper work .
Im sure CA is set up simular to MI regarding a veh at a tow yard . The tow yard should have either paper work to obtain the tittle or the tittle its self...
I would make sure you do not have any water in the filters to freeze . If you do not plan to run it all winter that is the only thing id worry about . If you think you may want to fire it up then id treat the fuel with anti gel . Instructions are on the bottle X amount for X amount of fuel .
Ditto , i just did that a month or so ago . shoe goop and some large curved needles , nylon heavy thread . Put some stiches in with the goo and it seems to be working great .
I seen one of these sitting in a field locally 2 days ago , same cab fenders . Those are a GMC truck ? Gas power id imagine ?
I was working so i couldnt take time to check it out .
I think it looks cool , different . If your real goal is to make it hard to spot then the problem is this .
The larger spots used in camo is to break the straight lines of the truck , line along the hood for example . Brown over the corner where the box ends . The straight lines of the veh...
I dont quite get this , I have read this all over the board . I dont recall it mixing so i put a bit of diesel in a jar , some 2 stroke oil and , well it didnt mix at all .
2 stroke was the cheap gallons you buy at a walmart , injection oil for snowmachines . The two stroke wanted to float on...
Seems like a lot of folks on here have had good luck but your story is a little more how i recall the 6.2 , 6.5 was not any better for reliablity . Bought one new and all gm had was excuses for not covering stuff under warranty .
