    steering stabiizer m35a2

Why do you need a steering stabilizer? If you have death wobble you are just covering up the real problem.

Looking to move my CUCV-II, 2 door, long bed from San Antonio, TX to Florida.

Oh alright, he has a radio setup that I want to get from him anyway, so good timing all around.

You may be ok with that. I don't know though. That picture isn't even a full flex picture.

    Roosa Master DB2 Problem

Don't cut the body. Drill the screw with a very small bit in the center all the way through the screw and then try it again. If it doesn't break loose, move up to the next size bit and drill it, then try again. Repeat until it either comes out or you can no longer get a bite on the screw head...

fuel additive for long term storage

I picked up a few bottles of Power Service brand fuel and tank cleaner with"Petrofresh" additive today and added to my storage tanks. It is supposed to polish fuel, keep fuel fresh for "extended storage", and clean dirty tanks. Hopefully it works with JP just as well as diesel.

Yeah any normal accordion would have torn apart from the articulation in that pic.

Looking to move my CUCV-II, 2 door, long bed from San Antonio, TX to Florida.

Just so happens that I have a couple of extra CUCV tires and rims I could bolt on and I have to go over around Spring Texas soon anyway in the deuce, so I could pick it up for you and at least get it heading east. I'm not sure if I can bring it all the way to Florida for you but I will if I have...

Well then, if Stonepicker isn't dead set on having it trailered, that opens up another option for me.

Looking to move my CUCV-II, 2 door, long bed from San Antonio, TX to Florida.

I would flat tow it to you with my deuce, but i don't see any tow points. I do have a friend with a gooseneck trailer that is all over the southern states and lives in Florida that may be able to bring it to you. I'll see if he can swing it or if he is even getting over that way.

Guess I'm looking at head gaskets

Chances are the antifreeze has already done major damage to the bottom end bearings then. I wish you had drains the pan when it happened. Have you ever seen coolant eaten bearings? You may want to find another engine to swap in.

Guess I'm looking at head gaskets

How long has it sat with water and antifreeze in the oil?

IP problem with my new Deuce...need advice

Maybe when he said the sleeve was cracked he meant a cylinder sleeve...

fuel additive for long term storage

So JP-8 doesn't require any additive for storage?

Guess I'm looking at head gaskets

You need to drain all of that out and let it sit empty. Antifreeze will destroy all of the bearings in your engine. It simply eats them away, and it doesn't take long or even have to run.

Need help to identify this tool.

Looks like a spanner used to turn the deuce crankshaft by the balancer instead of the balancer bolt.

Does anyone know this Deuce? M135

Make a couple of laminated letters and put them in several places on the truck where they can't be missed. Print them on red or orange paper. And maybe offer to trade a storage shed or container for it, since that is what it is being used for anyway.

    M35 Rear Window

You need something that can account for somewhere around 12--16" of twist and travel in any one direction, unless it is going to be a pavement and gravel road queen.

    Rust! Am I done for?

A truck with no windshield leaks a lot more than a truck with a windshield and a rust hole.... Now call them up and tell them they owe you new floor pans.

    Stupid me

And all because of a $7 light.

    M35 Rear Window

I would advised against a pass through because of how much the cab and box move independently of each other.
