Which 6.5 pump? DS4 will require much more than they are worth. Lots of 6.5 pumps are 12V so it really depends on where you are getting the pump.

I would also urge you to take a few minutes and look at FM20-22 that Gerhard linked above. There's a whole lot of good ideas in that FM that can really get you out of a jamb at 0-Dark-thirty on a Sunday.

Gimpy, when you tire of selling the springer seat bases for $45, strip the shock, spring and cranker out and list them on ebay for $?? as a repair kit. Heck, folks are asking more than $45 for a retrofitted (marketed as upgraded) shock.
