Well, I think this was covered in a prior post. This is a weekend event. TP is a few hundred miles away. No fires, no off roading. Some of us only have the weekend to get away. Dirtbag is close, we can have fires, use our rakes and shovels, get stuck and such. It wasn't scheduled in conflict...

There was a guy here that did it the old fashoned way a long time ago. The cats liked his truck for some time after the treatment. I think it was Recovery4X4 or maybe Steelsoldiers...WVO was his treatment [thumbzup] roflSorry guys!!
No hubs, they are gone. Now I understand your PM aua. Take the front driveshaft out and remove the spring loaded engagement link on the t-case. That should stop the front from trying to engage.
You have some very nice stuff there! Is it alot of upkeep due to being out in the middle of the ocean? I've seen the trucks from GL out of Hawaii, all cheese holed up. Guess if you can get new stuff when you want there's no need to keep them clean
Kee up the good work!
It is just up to us mods. I am supposed to go in and check to make sure that this doesn't happen. I just forget sometimes and usually go in and move a whole mess of the ones that got put in the wrong place at one time.
I took mine to Franklin Truck Parts. They re-lined them with some generic, cut to fit stuff. Works great! Cost me $25.00
If you want the OEM stuff, the above posts are correct, just keep an eye out on e-bay, sets pop up from time to time. I got a set minus the rivits for $45 shipped.
I just re read this whole mess. You can be "pig headded" if you want, but, if it were me, I'd go buy a fresh dataplate, get with Carnac and find out the ORIGINAL build date, have it stamped and try again.
Just because you take the auto trans out of your '69 Chevelle and convert it to a 4 speed...
