M932A1 with shorter drop side deuce bed

I thought about just putting a full length bed on. I didn't want to loose the spare tire carrier and I wanted to keep the truck short. The bed would have stuck out another 1.5 feet in the rear. It would have been good for mounting the rear mud flaps though. With the short frame of a tractor a...

M932A1 with shorter drop side deuce bed

The truck is the same length as an M35a2 w/w. The lunette portion is secured just back of the lunette on the other tow bar attach area.

    My Cab upgrades

I just wired the two gauges in series so I didn't have to get 24v bulbs. They are a little brighter but not bad.

Plasticoat bedliner in the 1 gallon pale. I used a variable speed buffer with 80 grit sand paper to knock off the rust and loose paint and create a surface for the liner to grab on to. I put it on with a paint roller.

    A2 cruising speeds

Stock my deuce like about 47mph. I put 395's on and now it likes around 56mph. I also added a brake resevoir so I can monitor any leak issues. I have not turned up my fuel but did add a pyrometer and boost gauge to make sure I don't beat up the truck. I can lock up all my wheels without...

M932A1 with shorter drop side deuce bed

No other pics. Not hard just used two front shackle mounts that I cut off the 3rd mounting hole. I used 7/8 x8" bolts to mount the bar on the shackles.

M932A1 with shorter drop side deuce bed

Productive day. Got the troop seats cleaned and painted and installed. Then got the tow bar mounted up on the front side of the bed. Works and looks good to me ! I just need to get the top cut down to fit the bed now.

    Bobbed A3 W/W DONE

When people ask me what I'm going to do with it I just ask for their address. When they give me a puzzled look I say so I can drive it through their house

Source for power steering box for 931a2

An A2 might use a different steering box than a straight 923 or 923A1 because of a different motor. I'm not sure about this though. Try Boyce equipment, they might have what your looking for. It seems their prices are just a little lower than the other guys.

m932 parking brake buzzer keeps buzzing after parking brake is released

The failsafe warning box by the drivers left foot is problematic. I had to replace mine to get the buzzer to stop. That was after checking everything else out. White owl has the part. Do a search. I did a post on this.

    m818 brake issues

You've locked it up with the adjusters. Look in the TM to see which way to turn them to loosen. You might also remove the brake line just in case there is some pressure on the brake cylinder assembly.

    WMO Power surge

If the FDC has been bypassed then it won't run as well on other fuels as diesel. FDC corrects for fuel density so that you get even power with mixed/other fuels. My FDC was bypassed by the military. I've run on other fuels with only a slight power loss. My mixtures were only maybe 20% other...
